Just keep Singing

SingStar for the PS3 delivers more of the same SingStar experience that we've all grown accustomed to. For those who don
't know what SingStar is, here's the deal: game comes with two microphones and about 30-ish songs. Boot up and jump into your favorite song, making a fool of yourself, singing along, trying to match the pitch of the singer.

The main joy in SingStar has always been singing with friends, and now, along with the usual bevy of offline modes, there's an awesome online community. Here you can create your own 'MySingstar' profile, have a little about me, upload your best scores, and with the help of the PlayStation Eye, upload videos, pictures, or audio recordings of yourself. Fun? Yes. Embarassing? Most definitely.
Thanks to downloadable content, there's now an online SingStore, containing a catalog of over 230 songs at the moment, all available to download ($1.50 each).

SingStar is pretty much the same game we've grown to love, but now endlessly replayable. There's one hiccup in the experience, though- no online play. What?! That's right. No online dueling, sing-alongs, nothing. Major missed opportunity.

Besides that small factor, everythign else works like a charm. The music is great, the video quality is great, the mics work great, the online is great, everything is great.
However, buy with caution- if you're not the singing type, you probably wont get far with this game.
